Grounds
Across the field and through the old farmyard is a gate to the pond area. It is 123cm wide with a catch at 71cm. Guests are welcome to explore the farm. The most accessible section of our farm walk is the path across the pond field and around the pond's perimeter. This is suitable for buggies and wheelchairs, so long as ground conditions permit. The nature reserve is untamed, with narrow uneven and often muddy paths. We offer free guided walks, and can tailor these to suit physical abilities. We have one backpack we can lend to carry very small children. If you can't manage the nature reserve we'd be happy to take you pond dipping or accompany you on another part of the farm walk. Please note that many sections, though less challenging that the nature reserve, are still over uneven ground.
Assistance dogs welcome - plenty of room to exercise them.
Shared washing machine in outbuilding, £2 per load, line and pegs provided, or dryer in the owners house (£3 per load).
Owners live on site and are happy to help make your stay as comfortable as possible.
