May 2013
Hello Ian and Maggie, We just wanted to send a quick email to say thank you. We stayed in your Honeysuckle cabin over the weekend and had a wonderful relaxing time. The time just flew by. We also very much enjoyed your scones and jam. It was wonderful to start our break sitting amongst the buttercups in sunshine having afternoon tea....
Your dog is the best :O).
The drive to and from the cabin was lovely; sunshine, blue sky and wonderful fields of colour.
Once again thank you very much :O)
KIndest regards, Jo, Midge, Marisa, Kim and Claudia

Hi Ian, Maggie & boys, I just want to say a big thankyou for making my time wwoofing at your farm so enjoyable. You have been by far the best hosts I have had so far by a country mile. You were all very welcoming and made me feel at home... and part of the family and I wish I could of stayed longer. Your hospitaliy was fantastic and so was the food and I admire all you have achieved at Wheatland Farm and your ethos towards the work you do. I wish you all the best luck for the future and hope all goes well with the new lodge. Kind regards, Neil

Hi Ian, Just a quick note to say once again, thank you for being great hosts! We all had a fabulous time with you over the weekend. Hope you didn't mind us leaving you our excess goodies - we really did eat enough to burst and there was no way we could polish it all off! ;) We all made it home safe and sound yesterday afternoon and are tackling our mounds of washing - great getting back to reality! Thanks again - and I expect you'll be hearing from us again later in the year. Leah... and the hordes from Portsmouth!

Thank you for another fabulous break away. Please take the poinsetta and there are some ice creams in the freezer that the boys may like! See in in February! Simon, Mel and Evie

Thank you ever so much for looking after us, and for making us feel welcome in this lovely cottage. It is a shame that we have to leave early, but hopefully we will be albe to come back next year and be able to explore Devon a little more. Thanks for everything. John, Jo and Ro. P.S. We've left some ice cream in the freezer - hope you enjoy it!

Lovely cottage, lovely farm, lovely people.
Very helpful + supplied good directions to get here. Would definitely recommend and stay here, very peaceful. Great area for dog walking.
Cottage was well equipped with all you could need including a torch! Only thing we were not to keen on was the front door not being able to lock with key, it has a slide latch but for security an inside locking door would have made us feel more comfortable.
The farm itself, being eco, is fantastic. We recycle at home so didn't find it to be any different and everything is well explained as to where to put what.
Having dogs we brought our own throws for the sofas as no room to put our bery large dog bed in the cottage (3 dogs) but there were throws on sofas as we arrived which was great although we still used ours as 12 muddy paws can make quite a mess.
A stairgate was also supplied for us to stop wandering paws. Overall we had a great few days i a lovely cottage in georgeous surroundings.
Thank you very much!
